Easily the best part of my job is that I get to do it here in Boston. If you’ve been following us for more than 15 minutes, you probably know that we have a LOT of cookies with Boston inspiration. When I tell people how I quit my job because I had a game day superstition with cookies and that the Bruins won the Stanley Cup and I quit my job and started a cookie company, they usually respond with that’s the most Boston story ever. My dad grew up in Southie, but chose to raise his family in NH. So, that’s where I grew up. We often drove through Boston to get to Quincy for many family gatherings...
March's Cookie of The Month is a cool collaboration we did with Grand Ten Distilling It's actually something we did last summer, but it's an awesome reminder of why I absolutely love what I do. One SoWa Sunday, I was sitting in my tent ready to sell cookies to the next visitor who stopped by. This lovely lady came to my table to tell me how much Julie Kramer from Radio BDC loved me. I smiled. Julie has shown me (and a lot of small business owners) so much love. It always makes me really happy, Julie is so kind and sincere and meeting her for the first time was a thrill as I loved her on WFNX and she...
February’s Cookie of the Month is another one of our Original Six flavors. It’s hard for me to pick the RIGHT chocolate cookie for February, but I decided to go with this one. Annette is probably one of the nicest people on planet earth. When I moved to down here from New Hampshire, Annette looked out for me. Quickly we realized we had a common love of baking and mostly baking chocolate things. She...
I entered a cookie contest. I figured it might be a good way to find out if other people liked my cookies or if my friends were just really good friends.
Yesterday, I reflected a lot about what I'm thankful for. I'm so thankful for the opportunity to make my dream a reality. Baking cookies for a living is a pretty awesome job.
